1 - First Important Lesson - Cleaning Lady.
During my second month of college, our professorgave us a pop quiz.
I was a conscientious studentand had breezed through the questions until I read the last one:"What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?"
Surely this was some kind of joke.
I had seen thecleaning woman several times. She was tall,dark-haired and in her 50s, but how would I know her name?
I handed in my paper, leaving the last questionblank.
Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our quiz grade.
"Absolutely," said the professor.
"In your careers,you will meet many people. All are significant. Theydeserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say "hello."
I've never forgotten that lesson.

In the days when an ice cream sundae cost much less,

4 - Fourth Important Lesson. - The obstacle in Our Path.
In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on aroadway.
Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock.
Some of the king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed theKing for not keeping the roads clear,
but none didanything about getting the stone out of the way. Then a peasant came along carrying a load ofvegetables.
Upon approaching the boulder, thepeasant laid down his burden and tried to move thestone to the side of the road.
After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded.
After thepeasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been.
The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for theperson who removed the boulder from the roadway.
The peasant learned what many of us never understand!Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition.
5 - Fifth Important Lesson - Giving When it Counts...
Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at ahospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz whowas suffering from a rare & serious disease.
Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and haddeveloped the antibodies needed to combat the illness.
The doctor explained the situation to herlittle brother, and asked the little boy if he wouldbe willing to give his blood to his sister.
I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking adeep breath and saying,
"Yes I'll do it if it will save her."
As the transfusion progressed, he lay inbed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did,seeing the color returning to her cheek.
Then his face grew pale and his smile faded.
He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice,
"Will I start to die right away".
Being young, the little boy had misunderstood thedoctor;

please! saving the environment means saving ourselves and it is very critical for us to stop global warming, because. if we dont our extinction will be only decades away. not centuries, not millenniums but decades.
here are some ways to kickstart your plan to save the world! :D
People should reduce the usage of electrical appliances which emits green house gases. For e.g. the refrigerator releases chloro fluro carbon (CFC) and the incandescent light lamp emits 300 pounds of carbon dioxide a year. This can be replaced by a compact fluorescent light bulb which saves much energy.
Follow RRR-Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. People should not dump waste products in the ground. Plant products, food waste, vegetable dump undergoes anaerobic decomposition i.e. they break down to produce methane, a green house gas instead of oxygen. Hence the product usage and wastage should be reduced or recycled for a healthy atmosphere.
Trees absorb a large amount of carbon dioxide. Many trees should be planted since they involve in photosynthesis, food preparation with the help of sunlight. During this process, trees absorb carbon dioxide and exhale oxygen. Also, existing forests should be saved and usage of plant byproducts shouldn’t be wasted.
Usage of green power prevents 300 kg of carbon dioxide to be emitted into the atmosphere. The electricity obtained from the renewable resources like wind and water is called green power. The cost is also low in case of green power.
Insulation of the ceiling of a house and power saving is the important factor to reduce global warming. The electric appliances should be switched off instead to hold it in stand by mode. This will save more power since stand by mode consumes 40% of the energy.
People should use only energy efficient appliances. Thermostat should be used for air conditioners since it reduces the temperature automatically.
Consumption of organic food should be increased because organic soil absorb large amount of carbon dioxide. Buying local food reduces the consumption of fuel. Cows emits large amount of methane due to their vegetarian diet. Hence meat consumption should be reduced. Also tetra packs should be used instead of tinned food.
Periodic maintenance of the vehicles helps in efficient usage of fuel and reduces release of green house gases. Proper inflation of tyres should be done and fuel wastage should be avoided.
Teach your neighborhood and friends about the cause and impacts of global warming and methods to reduce it. Conservation of forests also forms a factor to reduce global warming.

28th jan-- the girls first match. we lost. how sad. D': 29 vs 30.! ONE FUCKING MISERABLE POINT. RAHH. but the girls did reallyyyyyyyyy well. like well-est i've seen in all of the matches ive seen. they cried aft the match. and it broke my heart. much much more than when yj broke up with me.

oh yeahhhhhhh! today is the last day of the stupid distributing paper.! jajaja!~ i was distributing the new version of MY PAPER! the whole week..... -.- u know some ppl give us jiao bin one.. WAHLAU feeeeel like slapping them cannn -..- dont want to take then jus smile and shake head or summick can... WAHLAU give jiao bin.. but the cheeapo one l;ah 1 hr 5.50 bucks then one day work 2 hrs only dunno why i workkk haha anyway i worked with yanruu. the stupid job starts at 7 ends at 9.. in the MORNING!

chalet!!~ (on the 3rd, 4th, 5th ofnov) hahaha.
fact no. 1) it was organised by valerie, eunice, yanru and huiqi. fact no. 2) valerie's mom cooks great beehoon noodles.
fact no. 3) there was alot of food n leftover prawns
fact no. 4) i cook great marshmellows.
fact no. 5) i got drunk
so i woke up and wen t meet yanru, xuan hui, val n her mom, at imm's giant.
we bought stuffs and went t val's place
and val's mom cooked the beehoon ah.. WAHHHH. so nice. :D even the scent of the beehoon set me drooling..
but! i was so tired i fell aslp on val's couch. haha, while yanru and xuanhui got their hair cut.
then aft all was ready
we took a maxi cab down t coasta sands pasir ris resort. haha. aft settling us down auntie went

then we four started to play nitendo ds. not all four but we took turns n played. haha.

but i was upset. so i drank like the whole bottle of vodka. haha. 43% alcohol.
at first i still could like see clearly, as in my head was not spinning. but aft that. haha. i was knocked out. yanru said i was talking rubbish and yilong siad i was like a 3 year old kid. haha.
so funny lah. i was the comic relief okay!! lalala.

im so bored at home but im lazy t blog what happened ytd. i'll like blog tml or smth.my nephewwwww is soooooo cute. he is absolutely precious!! heyyyyyyyyyyyy people. haha. im going to change th skin soon. getting bored of it. haha
BARBEQUE~~ 22nd nov. haha like so funn. but th pictures arent in yet. boohoo~ D': cries then we had alot of funnn~ first kaihui and kia hui came t my hse to do stuff. like buttering the corn n stuffs. haha. think i kena scolded cos i was putting too much butter. haha. then xueli came n i started to paint her nails. haha. her temn nials are all of diffrent colours!! haha. so nice can. then xuanhui came just t take her bag. haha. after cheefu came and they started to play majong. cos there was five of us so cheefu, xueli,jan, n kiahui played majong. i played maple. haha. i was like screaming and screaming. cos the monsters lah. like so many attack me at one time. haha. i was hooked on it for a few hrs. but after that i got bored alr. haha. like cos my hand was getting tired. haha. lalala. then it was barbeque time~~! and i peng-ed stuff for the first time!! haha. yay! :D im such a loser lah. like i nv peng b4. haha. i was like barbequeing th stuffs the whole night!! and i started th fire! RAWR. i miss him so much. badly, even. i didnt know i could need so someone so much. man, i dont know what to do. or what i can do. its killing me softly. from the inside out. SADdness and ENVY engulfs me when i see other couples being lovey dovey. its so sad. and i think im starting to despise myself for needing him so much. i dont think its right. and i dont think he needs me that much either. i'm convinced that this is not right bt i think i like him too much to pull out now. im missing him more and more everyday. and i cant stop myself from thinking about him. i try to be understanding but the truth is im not. i do not understand anyhting at all. but love works in a funny. i beieve that whoever that has tasted love agrees with me. god, im so clingy and i hate myself for that.

oh yeah. i met this lady, she was from egypt and she was friendly and all. really. but i forgot to take photo with her D: cry. she's here on a course, flower designing course. haha. COOL! she liked sg alot and all. hahha happy to have met her. but i think i was at a loss for words cos i asked her : " does egypt have alot of sand?" god im being lame. haha. :D
then i went to meet JC and went shoppping at this hotel. the colthed we all half px or more can. haha. so cheap. this jacket caught my eye and after much pleading with my mum, i bought it. hahah i cost 330 bucks before discount and bout 165 after. hahah. happyyyyyyyyy :D
then we went to fish & co. the food was real great. i love the salad and the passion fruit there. today JC introduced me to a new dish. MUSSELS!!!! yumms~~~ haha :D

then we went to wild rockets and had lunch. the food was like WOW!! suppppppppperrrr niceeeeeee. really nxt time pple shuld go there more. haah. its cheap ( the set meal was like what, 26 bucks?) and the food was really filling and all that. haha. WOW. the tuna salad was absolutely scrumptous. DELICIOUS!! its like, you've been there once and you'll go again. too bad i didnt take any photos, i was too engrossed in eating, cant balme me for that, im a sucker for food. haha.
then we walked down to the bus stop and headed for paragon. AND FINALLY!! i bought my RALPH LAUREN, like finally. haha. i waited for like one week to get my hands on the polo tees. and it felt GREAT!! im so happyyyyy!! haha i bought 2 for myslef and 2 for my brotherrrr, it cost me about 400 bucks? haha. but it was worth it k. haha. then there was a BIG BIG SALE at country road, paragon. i got this really cute top for 54 or 56? i forgot. and J.C. bought a pair of jeans and one jacket. it was damm cheap lah. like the jacket his how thick and it costs 80 onlyy.. haha. then J.C. was like how happy. smiling and smiling. hohoho. :DD <- J.C.'s face
then we went to TANGS, and i shpped for bras and J.C. was how boredd. so he went to starbucks and waited for me. yup. haha. then after like an gruelling hour of choosing and choosing i bought like 3 bras. hahah. so happy!! finallyy!! haha.!! happy okay. :D then i go starbucks and meet J.C. theni drank this juce that tasted like medicine. yuckk. haha. then i met aimee, my cousin. ahah she looked nice in her dress. and she gave me this really nice looking postcard. im gonna pasted it in my notebook-cum-organiser. ahah
after chatting for awhile then me n J.C, went to liang court to get this pair of earrings. ahahah very nicee okay. haha then we went to hagen daz to eat ice cream. haha.we ate this chocolate brownie with mango sorbet. damm nice lah. haha. :DD im sooooo greeedyyy. i gained 100kg today. hahah after that we wnet to get beer food at meridien hotel, at my aunt's shop. i love the food there. VERRRRRRRRYYY NICEEEEE. haha. i met my uncle at there. haha. then he asked me to drink this whisky, diluted one. so i just drank the whole thing. haha. it was nice ok. i should go train, so that i can hold my liqour well. haha. just dont get beer belly can alr. haha :DD
okok. so im going to hang with my best buds tmr. yanru and xuan hui. haha. shoppinggggg~~~. hehehe. and yj went to play ball today. aiyo aiyo! hehe misss himmmm!!

WHAT!! i only studied conflict and cooperation. haha. but luckily i only revised one theme if not i would just cry lor. haha. cos i was considering to do the first three themes and forget about the last three and the last three came out. then after the paper i went to class and look at pple studying bio. ahha. THANK GOD i have dropped it. if not i'd still be mugging at sch now. haha. bio is hard, but sci center makes it fun. really. hahah. then we went to class to bitch about wonderwoman. ahha. then xuan hui said i was a devil in disguise. cos i taught yanru how to scold her. but she really went overboard this time. i gave in to her alr. what more does she want. *scowls. haha. i hope she grows up..
